The
Lock/Alarm is an innovative, portable device suitable for securing virtually
any large items from theft. The Lock/Alarm has an ear piercing siren that
will scare away potential thieves. When an attempt is made to cut through
its ultra hard steel cable, or attack the main lock unit, the alarm starts
screaming!
Compact and simple to use, the Lock/Alarm can provide 24
hour protection for valuables left unattended outside or stored in a shed,
garage or outbuilding. It is also ideal for when you are on the move for
securing equipment whilst in transit in vehicles, in the back of trucks or
on trailers.
The
Lock/Alarm weighs just 420g (1 lb) for the 2.4m (8ft) cable model and 520g
(1.2lbs) for the 4.6m (15ft) cable model. The steel cable is plastic coated
to avoid scratches to your valuable equipment.
When
not in use the cable can be wound neatly around the main unit and clamped
tight.
The Lock/Alarm
operates using a 9 Volt Alkaline battery which fits inside a tamper proof
internal compartment and which will last for many months of use.
Suitable for use in all weathers and environments the Lock/Alarm
can be used freestanding or it can be anchored to a wall, post, side of a
vehicle, or directly onto bicycles or machinery using the brackets supplied.

When
travelling the personal possessions you carry with you are often at great
risk to opportunist thieves. If you put them down and turn your back for one
moment they could easily be gone. The Lock/Alarm
‘Mini’ is your ideal
travel companion, helping safeguard your items and ensuring your trip does
not get spoilt.
The Lock/Alarm ‘Mini’ weighs just 100g (3.5oz) and is
small enough to fit in the palm of your hand or easily into your pocket
(8.5cm x 6cm x 2.5cm / 3.5” x 2.5” x 1”) making it ideal for travel.
It features a retractable high tensile steel cable (plastic
coated to avoid scratching your possessions) which can extend up to 60cm
(24”) in length. Simply pull out as much of the steel cable as required,
lock the cable around the item(s) you wish to protect and also an immovable
object such as a post or railing (to prevent your items from being easily
snatched by a thief). If an attempt is made to cut through the steel cable,
or compromise the main lock unit, the alarm will start screaming!
In addition, the Lock/Alarm ‘Mini’ has a movement sensor feature.
If this is set then the alarm will also sound if the lock is disturbed by
someone. A time delay enables the user to lock/unlock before the alarm
activates.
The
3 digit combination lock means no keys are necessary. The combination can be
easily programmed by the user to a memorable code of their choosing.
The Lock/Alarm ‘Mini’ operates using 4 x LR44 (1.5v) batteries which
are included and fit inside a tamper proof compartment. A low battery
indicator alerts the user when the batteries need changing.
Using the computer slot adapter with the Lock/Alarm ‘Mini’ a

ComputaLock Alarm
The ComputaLock/Alarm is a specially adapted version
of the Cable
Lock & Alarm that comes supplied with cable
fixing plates (made from steel) and "weld bond" adhesive in order
to allow desktop computers and computer peripherals to be secured and
alarmed from theft.
The ComputaLock/Alarm is available with either a 2.4m
(8ft) cable or a 4.6m (15ft) cable (other cable lengths may also be
available). It protects your computers 24 hours a day, even when they are in
use. If an attempt is made to cut through its ultra hard steel cable, or
attack the main lock unit, the alarm starts screaming!
The ComputaLock/Alarm is very easy to use. The cable
fixing plates attach to your equipment using the “weld bond” adhesive,
and the cable passes through the fixing plates to secure. Tamper proof
brackets enable the main Lock Alarm unit to be mounted to a wall, floor or
table, anchoring your items to a fixed point. Once installed, it remains
“on” permanently and does not need to be switched off in order to use
the equipment. Should items need to be removed temporarily this can be done
quickly and easily by the authorised key holders.
